and the tall woman who takes care of me in the afternoons wears a sari, her favourite one is orange and when it is dark outside she tells me about different animals, her favourite subject is birds but I want her to tell me about lizards, so that evening she tells me that the hospital near her house recently took in a girl who had grown scales like a lizard, and a tail too, a foot long and that people are queuing to go and see her, that it was all over the morning’s paper, and I believe her
